The NaturalOrigins Project: Empowering Migrant Youth through Entrepreneurship

Introduction

In today’s rapidly changing world, entrepreneurship is increasingly recognized as a powerful tool for fostering social inclusion and economic empowerment. The NaturalOrigins Project, an Erasmus+ KA220-YOU initiative, seeks to harness this potential by equipping young people with migrant backgrounds with entrepreneurial skills. With a specific focus on the trade of natural products, this project bridges cultural interaction and self-reliance, offering pathways for sustainable income and community integration. Coordinated by DOUMAG LTD in Cyprus and implemented with the support of partners from Türkiye (KEVADER), Italy (EGINA), Spain (Asociación Dalhena), Greece (MD Brainnovation Consulting) and Ireland (Konnektable Technologies), the project is transforming lives across Europe.

Objectives and Vision

The NaturalOrigins Project aims to address the economic and social challenges faced by young migrants, focusing on:

1. Fostering Social Inclusion: Empowering young migrants to become active contributors to their local economies and communities.
2. Developing Entrepreneurial Skills: Providing tailored training on the trade of natural products, such as herbs, oils, and seeds.
3. Promoting Cultural Interaction: Using entrepreneurship as a medium for fostering cross-cultural understanding and collaboration.

By bridging the gap between opportunity and access, the project supports young migrants in building sustainable futures, both financially and socially.
